What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Senior Azure Fabric Cloud and Data Architect with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud solutions, including Azure Service Fabric and/or microservices architecture
• Proven expertise in Azure data services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, container orchestration, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep) and DevOps workflows (CI/CD, version control)
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in Azure (Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities)
• Familiarity with relational (SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep for consistent, automated deployments
• Implement DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging) to streamline release cycles and improve operational efficiency.

What do we expect from you?

• Design and maintain Azure Service Fabric clusters for hosting microservices and stateful/stateless applications
• Oversee end-to-end architecture of Azure-based solutions, including compute, networking, security, and storage
• Develop best practices for high availability, scalability, and performance in a multi-tenant, cloud-native environment
• Architect and implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Define and manage data governance policies, ensuring security, data quality, and compliance with relevant regulations (DORA,GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to create efficient data pipelines that support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads
• Work with security teams to design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and threat protection on Azure
• Continuously assess and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Establish policies for data privacy, retention, and disaster recovery, aligning with business continuity plans
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost- effectiveness, leveraging Azure-native tools and third-party solutions.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for database systems, analytics platforms, and microservices
• Provide recommendations on resource allocation, scaling strategies, and potential cost-saving measures
